The Design Process
After you have chosen the center diamond of your choice, we will begin the process of designing your ring. It’s important that we make the ring properly by making any extra diamonds in your ring match your center diamond. In this way you will be assured of receiving the finest quality diamond ring, built to our exacting standards, to produce the diamond engagement ring of your dreams. Our discussion begins with you bringing your ideas to us about what your looking for in a diamond ring. We will discuss what is important to you, and get ideas of the type of ring that you have in mind.
As we talk, we will begin forming a hand drawn sketch which we will use to make a CAD drawing, a computer-aided design, that will be drawn to scale, depicting your diamond ring accurately to you. Your CAD drawing will be sent to you via e-mail, with multiple angle views of the ring for you to review and discuss with us. It’s very easy for us to modify the ring at this stage to attain the exacting standards that we have built our reputation on. Once you approve the CAD design, we use a computer to make a precision cut wax model that we will use to cast your diamond ring in the metal of your choice.
